Stay cool in your Seville car hire

No one likes being told how to drive! It can be all the more annoying if the driving advice is coming form a spouse or family member. Tempers can become quickly frayed and your idyllic Seville drive could turn into anything but.

A recent survey by Easy car highlighted some of the tensions which may arise during a rental car trip. Not surprisingly bad driving habits come out on top of the list as the most annoying single thing. These arguments happen with 37% of adults while on holiday according to the survey.

Reading maps is a huge cause of arguments followed by driving too fast and not correctly following local road signs. The survey divided holiday drivers into 4 categories

• SatNavvies – Believe their GPS system is an all powerful god and refuse to listen to reason.

• Planners – everything organized to a tee so should be prepared for the worst.

• Road Signers – constantly on the look out for signs and gives everyone else in the car the same job.

• Freewheelers – ah sure, it will be ok on the day…

It seems that school has only just started back but it’s only a couple of weeks now to half term break. For the majority of schools this year half term break starts Oct 27th and end October 31st.

A holiday in Seville is a more affordable break for a family at this time of year than many other destinations. With all the doom and gloom about the recession everyday it can be easy to start to think that a holiday is financially impossible.

However there are plenty of Airlines offering cheap flights to Seville from the UK including Ryanair, Air France and Clickair. It’s worth taking a look at prices as soon as possible in order to grab a bargain.

Here at carhireseville.co.uk we have lots of great offers for the half term. Whether you are looking for a large family car, a small budget car or a stylish premium car hire we have got you covered. The south of Spain is a wonderful place to explore in a hire car. There are plenty of sites within a reasonable distance form Seville which are well worth taking the time to visit.

One such place worthy of your attention is Carmona. Carmona is a twenty five mile drive from Seville. It is a traditional Spanish town with some fantastic places to eat out, unique places to shop and excellent hotels should you decide to stay the night.

Just five miles outside Carmona you can pay a visit to Santiponce which is home to a stunning amphitheatre. The city of Cadiz is also a short drive from Seville in your car hire and makes for a nice day out.

It seems there is always some event or festival happening within Seville or its surrounding regions. The Feria de Abril festival takes place in the spring and features lots of fun events such as flamenco dancing and bull fighting.

• Don’t take any risks in the sun. Put on lots of sun cream. We all like having a nice tan but you still need to be careful

• Try learning a few phrases of Spanish before you go. The locals will appreciate it.

• Leave work behind. That means NO work phone and NO work computer

• Research before you travel what attractions you would like to visit and activities you would like to try or DON’T if you just want to lay in the sun all day

• Work out how much money you want/can afford to spend for the duration of your holiday

• If you are planning a day trip outside the city then buy your food supplies in the grocery store so you can enjoy a nice picnic

• Make sure you are covered by your travel insurance package

• Be nice to people and they will probably be nice to you ;-)

• And of course……Book your Seville car hire at carhireseville.co.uk  ;-) (sorry, had to get it in)
