Seville has many museums which are well worth a visit. Here are 3 to start with
1) The Fine Arts Museum has been in existence since 1839. This magnificent building is now home to many spectacular works by Zurbaren, Valdes Leal and Esteban Murillo. There are 15 halls in the museum which cover work from the middle ages right up to the 20th century.
2) The contemporary Art Museum includes work from many modern day Seville artists. Artists include Antonio Rodriguez and Vasquez Diaz. There are plenty of exhibitions varying in style to be seen here all year round.
3) Located in the Parque de María Luisa is the Provincial Archaeological Museum, a tribute to Andalucía’s wonderful varied past. The museum is packed with mosaics, sculptures and ceramics.
